Don't Say "No" Too Often

Don't say the word "NO" too often. When you want to get your child, especially a
young child, to not do something, direct the child's attention to something else
more positive.  A child who is told "NO" too often will quit listening to that word
and do what it wants. Also, don't just treat the child like it's sub-human. Talk to
a child when correcting, don't yell.
