Making a Loaf of Bread Last

My mom lives alone and was having a hard time using a loaf of bread before it went bad. Now, she buys the bread she likes, divides it into packages, and wraps it in plastic wrap.  Then she puts each package into separate ziplock bags and freezes it!  She takes out a package, and when that package is almost gone, she can take out another and let it thaw and use it.  Double wrapped, the bread thaws out and is soft as fresh bread
