Give a Gift a Day When Traveling

If you are traveling by car with your children, wrap several small gifts, one
per day per child.  These can be purchased very reasonably at any dollar store, and
should be activity oriented.  Let each child unwrap their gift of the day early in
the day.  It will keep them occupied, and give them something to look forward to
in the car, each day.  The first time they asked "are we almost there yet", is when
I let them open the first present.
