Learning While Brushing Teeth

Here's something I have done with all of my girls to help them learn how to count
AND how to say their ABC's! Whenever I am brushing their teeth, I sing the ABC song
or count from 1 to 10 or 1 to 20. I do this every night and sooner or later, they know their
alphabet and how to count!   

Once they learn how to count from 1 to 10 or 20, I will switch things up by counting backwards. 
For example, I will count to 20 while brushing the top teeth and then count from 20 to 1
while I am brushing the bottom teeth. 

Not only do they learn something, but it also helps ensure their teeth are brushed thoroughly. 
This is a simple way to teach your children without taking any extra time and very little effort!
