How to Make Money With a Small Business

a Small Business
Even before you get looming projects like building a website and marketing, you would still need money. Not much of a problem, right? All you need to have is asthma and burns. At least that is the story according to a lot of people. Most people who might be more inclined to entrepreneurship are assured by society, or even their elders, that you need a lot of money up front to even start a small shop.

Where they go wrong, though, is they assume investing money is all that it takes to make a business thrive. This assumption is founded on a study that was done back in the 1980s. Back then, that study concluded that people who had trouble making ends meet with small business start-up cash were likely to be responsible for and poor quality products and services.

So, what do the 80s study and modern assumptions say today?

Well, things have changed a lot from the 80s. And, as I live and think about and associate with, and maintain it, a lot change from the 90s to today.

Today, people with little or no money can start a small business lemonade stand. rightsize their kitchen. work part time while they collect the money rolling the lemonade cart and baking it right. Eventually, the customer base grows. For each ten or so lemonade stands, you would probably need a few dozen hours a week to begin making a nice amount of money. And, by the time you can make a location-based, internet-based business making six figures by business model, you must go through all of your initial customer base before you can start making any money.

Those with limited resources need to please their customers, and stop telling their stories. Tell them what you’re worth. Sell the product or service that you like most more than any other product or service you’re knowledgeable about. Because you can’t please everyone, you need to build a business that reflects how you’re going to be more than willing to spend the money to fully succeed.

Lastly, here’s what you need to do before you launch yourself into the business world. Take some time to ask yourself the question ‘Do I have the drive, talent, and talent to run this business?’ Does a person with no skills and no drive to succeed, even if he or she has the money, have the will and heart to run a business? If the answer is no, you should wait until you do have skills, talents, and drive to take on more financial, personal, or life responsibility than you can handle. Because there’s a big sum of money riding on you, and you want to make sure you can do it.

Also, make sure you get insurance coverage the right way. Without coverage, you’re going to be in trouble. I’ve seen people lose $1,000 worth of insurance over an incident where the business didn’t have insurance. The answer, my friends, is to make sure you have coverage.

As for insurance, I can hear a few of you saying, “I already have my insurance coverage, my Mom already has her insurance coverage, I don’t really need a single insurance policy.”

Screw car insurance – that’s a myth! I think getting insurance is the number one reason you are reading this article, because it is! You need to make sure you have it all!
